- The fee for the placement test is non-refundable.
- We make reservations for a maximum of 24 hours according to availability of spots in the requested class. Payment must be notified at the e-mail tcpagoscol@britishcouncil.org.co within 24 hours; otherwise, you will lose your spot.
- Refunds or deferrals will be made without any justification up to 24 hours after payment has been made.
- Deferral requests and supporting documentation must be sent in writing to servicioalcliente@britishcouncil.org.co.
- After classes have started, requests will only be considered for the following reasons: Medical incapacities of over 15 days, or domestic calamities.

- The remaining amount generated by the deferral will be credited to the student's account and must be used the following bimonthly period. This balance may be transferred to another person by means of a written authorization. Enrolment is not automatically renewed. No refunds will be made.
- In case of noncompliance with payments on the stipulated dates, students or guardians may be reported to Risk Rating Agencies.
- We reserve the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum number of students. In this case, we will offer different options for schedules and locations in which to continue the course, or we will refund the total amount paid within 15 business days after the refund documents have been filed.
- Schedule, location or modality changes are only allowed (subject to the availability of spots), as follows:

- We reserve the right to change from on-site to virtual courses or vice versa; no refunds or deferrals will be made.
- Scheduling adult classes on some Fridays only applies to bimonthly classes between 17:00 and 21:10.
- We receive advance payments for adult classes up to three (3) courses. They must be taken consecutively and, if any price difference arises, it must be paid. Only one (1) deferral may be requested for the reasons stated above, attaching the respective supporting documentation.
- A discount will be granted when an adult class is affected by four or more teacher changes during the same period. The discount cannot accumulate with other discounts and must be used without exception the following month or bimonthly period.
- Discounts are not cumulative or transferable to other academic periods. They are subject to modifications without prior notice.
- On-site Early Years classes for children between the ages of four (4) to six (6) years are held on the first floors.
- Our courses can be failed due to absences; the minimum required attendance is 70%.
- The maximum number of students per class is sixteen (16).
- An academic hour is equal to 50 minutes.
- Holidays and classes a student misses cannot be made up.
- Students must carry their I.D. card for on-site classes. It is essential to enter any of our locations. People without I.D. cards will not be granted access.
- Only registered students will be able to enter the classroom or virtual class. Visitors are not accepted in any modality, and we are not responsible for accompanying minors.
- In the event any of our students engage in bullying or any other type of aggression or discrimination, the British Council will immediately cancel their enrolment without a refund.

- The British Council does not have any relationship with, nor is it responsible for financing provided by banks.
