Flippanta Kulakiewicz

Teacher

I was born in London, UK but my family is originally from Canada and Poland and I spent a lot of my childhood in Tanzania. Before I trained as a teacher I worked for several film and arts organisations in the UK. I've been teaching since 2011 and have taught in Scotland, Russia and Egypt. Despite a few initial surprises (fruit salad...and cheese!) I love life in Colombia and enjoy teaching Colombians because they are so lively and curious.

Joanne Carr

Teacher

I'm from Dublin in Ireland.  I've taught English in Spain, England, Ireland, Italy and Colombia.  I've been in Colombia since January 2015 and have really enjoyed working for the British Council here.  We have great facilities and the students are friendly, interested and always up for having fun.  I love discussing the details of grammar with advanced students or helping a beginner student to communicate effectively (and everything in between).
